The Baltimore Town Collections are a long-term community archiving project begun in 2021 as a digital space for ephemera from decades of arts happenings and cultural venues in a city known for its eccentric, DIY and vernacular artscene(s). Archived items can be found in two locations — on this site: www.BaltimoreTown.org
— and on the Internet Archive site: Archive.org/details/baltimoretown
The public is invited to share their own content — photos, audio files, videos, small press — plus personal recollections, comments and friendly critiques on the items in BTown’s collections. Webpages on this site, and at the Internet Archive, are under development (in beta) in 2022.
